Thirtieth Anniversary Show



Established thirty years ago in September, 1971, Afterimage Gallery is one of the oldest art galleries in the world exclusively devoted to the medium of photography. To celebrate the occasion, on September 15, 2001, we opened a theme show called CREATURES. We asked over 40 photographers (or their agents) to send us a creature picture that we had selected. The result is a fun and exciting show, and this is the first exhibit from the gallery that is reproduced in its entirety on the website. We hope you enjoy it!
