Owen Kanzler makes outstanding aerial photographs from an airplane he flies himself. This particular image is his best known, and people always find it to be fascinating. A couple of years ago, when we had a booth at the Photography Show in New York, this photograph always attracted an audience. It was taken with a 2¼ x 2¼ inch Bronica, and the details of all the people on the beach are tack sharp.
Mr. Kanzler has been a professional photographer since 1969, and he began his involvement with aviation in the mid-1970s. His fine-art work has been exhibited and published many times, primarily in New Jersey. He was born in 1949. Please go to his page to see more work. |
