Two Rivers-Two Lands: An American Passage in an ongoing collection on national rivers through lens and brush under the belief that the visual arts can make a difference to young and old alike in taking care of A Good Earth. Subjects are in either one-of-a-kind color hand-painted Polaroids, straight black and white Polaroids or color 4 x 5 Polaroid originals.
Lew Wilson came to photography with a background in painting, and he has been making black and white photographs and painting them since 1985. Both his paintings and photographs are in a number of museum collections. Mr. Wilson was born in 1948 and has spent most of his life in Florida, Texas and Colorado.
