Four & Twenty Photographs

We have handled the fine photography of Craig Varjabedian for a number of years now. He has authored several books, and his latest covers some 35 years of his artistic career. Our show and these two web pages are from the new book, Four & Twenty Photographs: Stories from Behind the Lens.

“I feel that land and people form relationships, and when I take a photograph, I’m forming a relationship, both with the subject of my picture (be it tree, cloud, building, or person) and the environment around the subject,” explains Mr. Varjabedian. “Nowadays, when I photograph I feel I’m creating an homage to the West, its land, and its people. The light and sky are spectacular, but the people who live here also affirm the strength, endurance, and magic of this place.”

Craig Varjabedian has work in a number of museums and has received several grants for his photography from the National Endowment for the Arts. He holds a Master of Fine Arts Degree in Photography from the Rochester Institute of Technology and has worked and studied with Paul Caponigro. He was born in Canada in 1957.

Prices: Craig Varjabedian's photographs are superbly printed in editions of 200, with prices increasing for every 25 prints sold. The beginning tier for 8 x 10 and 11 x 14 inch prints is $875.00. 16 x 20 prints are $1,275.00, and 20 x 24 prints are $1,975.00.
